Answering an agent's question
When an agent can’t continue without something from you — a decision it isn’t allowed to make, a missing detail, anything it needs to keep going — it stops and moves to Stuck. This parks the whole agent: every card it holds waits, not just the one it was working when it asked.
Where to answer
Open the agent from its card in the Stuck column, or from the agent’s own page. The question is answered there, on the row for the card that raised it — not on the Board, which shows neither the question nor a place to answer it.
Type your answer into the box under the question and send it. That’s the only mechanism: answering is typing to the agent, the same way you’d type anything else to it. There’s no separate “resolve” action.
What happens after
Your answer becomes the agent’s next prompt. It picks back up where it left off and moves back to Working once its CLI is running again. If the agent was also paused for another reason — a shared account limit, for instance — answering only clears the question; you may still need to release it from wherever its page says it’s waiting.
An agent asks one question at a time. If you don’t answer, it stays in Stuck indefinitely — nothing about it expires or resolves on its own.
See Columns and what they mean for how Stuck fits with the rest of the Board.
