Catching up in the morning
Three places tell you what happened while you were away, and each says what’s true right now.
Start with Needs you in the sidebar. It carries a count when something is waiting on you, and nothing when it isn’t. Open it and you get one row per thing: an agent stuck on a question, a comment addressed to you. Each row says where it’s from and opens straight to it. An empty list says so plainly — “Nothing is waiting on you. Agents keep going on their own.”
Next, look at the board. Its columns are the state of everything at a glance: cards sitting in Working are still being worked, Stuck is agents that stopped and need you, Review is finished work waiting on a decision, and Done is what actually merged overnight. You don’t have to read anything to know what happened — the column a card is in says it.
The bell, next to your name, holds notifications for individual events as they happened: an agent delivered, an agent got stuck, a merge failed or landed, someone mentioned you or replied. It’s a log of moments, not a summary of the night — each one links to the thing it’s about.
Between the three, you can always answer “what happened while I was away, and what needs me now”.
