Inviting people
To bring someone onto a project, open Project Settings › Members and create an invite link. There’s no invite email — you get a link, and sending it is up to you.
When you create one, you choose how long it lasts (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or never — 7 days is the default) and how many times it can be used (a single use, 5 uses, or unlimited). The link itself is shown to you once, right after you create it, with a note that it can’t be shown again — the server only keeps a hash of it, not the link. Copy it before you close the panel.
Anyone who opens the link and signs in joins the project as an editor. There’s no way to invite someone directly as an owner — ownership only moves by transferring the project (see below).
Active invites are listed under the link, each with its expiry and remaining uses, and you can revoke one at any time to stop it working.
Signing in first
The person opening your link still needs a Flowviant account — see Signing in. If they don’t have one yet, the same link carries them through sign-up before dropping them into the project.
See Projects and people for what an editor can do, and how to hand a project over to someone else entirely.
