Columns and what they mean
The Board has five columns: Open, Working, Stuck, Review, Done. A card sits in whichever one matches what’s actually happening to it — not a status you set by hand. There’s no drag and drop, and no way to move a card between columns yourself.
Open — nobody is working the card yet. Every new card lands here, in the order you created it.
Working — an agent has this card in its queue and is actively running.
Stuck — the agent needs something from you before it can keep going: usually a question, sometimes a crash or a machine it can’t reach. A stuck agent stops touching every card it holds, not just the one it was working when it asked. See Answering an agent’s question.
Review — the agent finished this card and it’s waiting on you to read the work and decide. See Review and merge.
Done — the work merged, or, for a mockup or write-up, you accepted it. A card only reaches Done once Flowviant can see the result land — approving asks the machine to merge, and the card closes when that actually happens, not when you press the button.
A card follows its agent, not its own record: if the agent holding it is stuck, the card shows in Stuck even though its underlying status still says “in progress.” An empty column still shows and still takes its share of the board, because the columns are the whole pipeline — hiding one would hide where work goes next.
